Managed Services

In conjunction with our Strategic Partner, Avnet, and IBM our Managed Technologies' portfolio includes a full complement of managed hosting services. These services will help keep your IT infrastructure humming by offering high availability, data security, backups, virus resistance, maintenance support for updates, patches, and re-boots.

Together we will provide a controlled, secure environment for products as well as managed support services seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day (7x24). Our Managed Support services include setup, logical configuration, daily systems administration, storage and SAN management, backup management, monitoring and reporting Services for Customer using supported technologies hosted at an Avnet facility.

Basic Service Service Description
Project Management Projects are managed using structured project management and system deployment methodologies. Our project management approach is modeled from the best practices of the Project Management Institute (PMI). The Project Managers will facilitate communications among stakeholders and document approved scope, schedules and services throughout the term of the Agreement.
Support Staffing • Operations, Server and O/S Administrators
• System restarts following standard operation procedure
• Management of identified required hardware and OS
• Operating System patches as required by the vendor
• Hardware support and patches as required by the vendor
• Operating System support and management
• Trouble ticket generation, initiation and tracking
Proactive network management and event monitoring of production environment • Bandwidth management and notification of additional requirements driven by usage on Avnet to the internet
• Software updates, DNS and port management
• Patches and updates for firewall and tools
• Actively manage abnormalities
• Trouble ticket initiation and tracking
Data and System Backup Services (standard data backup system) • Full backup on a weekly basis of all servers
• Daily differential backup of customer Data
• Weekly offsite storage of customer’s backup tapes *
Facility Features • Raised floor *
• Environmentally controlled computer room environment *
• Fully functional UPS system complete with multiple (redundant) utility power feeds, redundant battery backup, and generators *
• Command Center equipped and staffed with latest facility 7x24 monitoring capabilities
• Physical security (badge readers, cameras, security personnel) *
• Fire protection (HALON, FM200 and Preaction) *
• Environmental protection (leak detection / alert management) *
